Cilantro
(Coriandrum sativum)

  • moist well drained soil
  • moderate water
  • harvest: leaves and seed (coriander)

Herb pairings:
Cilantro pairs well with avocados, hot peppers, chicken, seafood, beef, tomatoes, ginger, soy, chives, oregano, marjoram, garlic and parsley. Cilantro is also tasty in Chinese, Thai, Mexican, and Indian dishes.

How to use?
Use whole, snipped, or chopped leaves and tender stems. Don't dry and don't cook cilantro, better when used fresh. Tender herb so add just before serving.
