Description:
  Curry leaf is a small, tropical to sub-tropical tree or shrub that usually grows to 6-15' tall.  Curry leaf is noted for its pungent and aromatic leaves which are important flavoring used in Indian/Asian cuisine.  Best to use the leaves fresh over dry as the flavor decreases when dry.

Growing:
  • ​tropical perennial (protect from frost in Florida)
  • full sun - part shade
  • ​moist well drained soil
  • moderate water (allow soil to dry between watering)
  • harvest: leaves

How to use?
  • culinary

Herb pairings:
Curry leaf pairs well with meat, seafood, chutneys, coconut sauces, relishes, marinades and omelets.

How to use?
  • strip leaves from stem and use
  • herb butters
