Description:
Dill is a annual culinary and medicinal herb grown for its leaves and seeds. Dill a very aromatic plant with an erect growth habit. The same dill that is used when processing cucumbers into pickles.

Growing:

  • full sun
  • moist ​well draining soil
  • moderate water
  • harvest: leaves & seeds

Herb pairings:
Dill pairs well with fish, potatoes, chicken, salads, carrots, tomatoes, eggs, summer vegetables, bread, basil, bay, borage, chervil, chives, garlic, mint, nasturtium, parsley, sorrel, tarragon, and watercress.

How to use?

Snip or chop leaves. Most flavorful raw, but holds up well to cooking.

Notes:
  • Store fresh dill in a plastic bag for 2-3 days.
