We cannot ship live plants to AK, CA, HI, OR, WA, outside the continental USA or to FPO or APO addresses at this time due to agricultural restrictions.

Our goal is to provide excellent customer service, and we'll do our best to ensure your complete satisfaction. * during transit and/or after receipt, neglect, incompatible zones or animals must be your responsibility. We cannot be held liable for shipping charges or any amount greater than the purchase price of the plants in question.

Our plants are grown outside in the elements so they are strong and hardened off when you receive them. We offer plants in standard 3" and 4” pots. Your plants will arrive securely in our custom made, exclusive packaging.

At Annie’s we take pride in growing our plants on-site, year-round. To better fulfill your order, we must ship within two weeks of your original order date. We cannot ship to a PO BOX or outside the continental US. Please keep in mind that plants can be damaged by extreme heat or cold weather while in transit. Non-plant items ship separately via ground transit.
Ship Date:The ship date refers to the date the package leaves our facility, not when to expect the package at your door. California orders will be delivered 1 day after your requested ship date. All other states are delivered 2 days after the requested ship date.

PLEASE DON'T REFUSE DELIVERY. Open the box immediately to determine if there is any damage to the plants. If plants arrive damaged, please contact us by phone at 1.888.266.4370 or email within 48 HOURS OF ARRIVAL, so we can make a note in your file. If there is some plant damage, please give the plant a chance to recover. Most plants recover quickly. If you believe there is considerable damage, let us know immediately and we'll be glad to take steps to make it right.

We specialize in hard to find and unusual herb plants, scented geraniums, and perennials for hummingbird and butterfly gardens. We grow and ship well rooted starter plants in 3 inch deep containers. (On our Shipping information page you can see a photo of the typical size plants we sell). We grow our plants naturally without harsh pesticides and chemicals. Fresh from our family farm to your door since 1997.

Plants are shipped by USPS priority mail. If plants are ordered during the Spring or Fall planting season they will generally ship within a week after we receive your order weather permitting and should arrive within 2-3 business days.
(We do not ship live plants during the hottest months of Summer or the coldest months of Winter.) Plants ordered in the Summer are shipped Late Sept - Nov. 15 and if ordering during the Winter months they will be shipped March 1 - June 30 in accordance with your planting zone weather permitting. You will receive an email with the tracking number when your package ships.. Occasionally shipments may be delayed due to weather. Please allow additional time of up to a week or more when placing orders during holidays. Generally, orders received before noon on Sunday will ship the following Monday or Tuesday. During our busiest months orders going to Georgia or nearby states may ship on Wednesdays.
If you have a specific date you would like your plants to be shipped, please leave a note under the "comment" section on the order page and we will try our best to accommodate you.

We cannot stress this enough... especially during hot weather, if you are not available to receive your package right away it may be helpful to have it delivered to a friend, neighbor, relative, or to your place of work so that the package will not sit outside in the weather. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed when your order is processed.
Checks, money orders, and cashiers checks should be made payable to Colonial Creek Farm. Please complete the online order process and the mark the box "payment by mail". Enclose a copy of your order and the proper amount including shipping cost and send to: Colonial Creek Farm 65 Modoc Lane, Swainsboro, GA 30401. A confirmation email will be sent to you detailing the total amount of your order when your order is processed. If sending a personal or business check through the mail, please allow up to ten days for the check to clear prior to your plants being shipped. Your plants may arrive stressed from their journey, especially during times of extreme temperatures. ***It is very important that you be available to receive the package and open the box as soon as possible. Plants cannot survive being left in a hot mailbox or outdoors in freezing temperatures for extended periods of time. We cannot stress this enough... especially during periods of extreme temperatures, if you are not going to be available to receive your package right away, it may be helpful to have the plants shipped to a neighbor, relative, friend or to your place of work so that they do not sit outside for extended periods of time.
Your plants may arrive stressed after their journey. They will usually bounce back given time and the proper care. Complete care instructions will be sent with each package and following these instructions can greatly improve the success in which the plants recover if they arrive in poor condition.
If your plants arrive dead or do not seem to be recovering after the proper care, please email us a photo of your plants along with a short note regarding the problem to colonialcreekfarm@colonialcreekfarm.com or use the form located on the Contact Us page. We may offer suggestions if the plants are struggling and/or ask that you give the plants a waiting period of up to a week to see if they recover.
We offer either refund or replacements for up to 30 days after you receive your plant(s). Refunds are limited to the actual cost of the plant(s), we cannot refund the shipping charge. We reserve the right to ship replacement plants at a later date if weather has been determined to be a factor in the demise of the plants. Again, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase, so please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns or questions.
